All remote access is based on a secure, ananomous technology used by journalists and other vulnerable people.
Aidomatix is self-contained and provides you with all information needed. Just browse to the URL presented on the screen of your Aidomatix with your favorite device and you will find step-by-step explanations, on how to make use of Aidomatix features.
On top of that, all modes can be used in parallel.
Remote aid mode
In the remote aid modes Aidomatix brings you and your aiding partner together with a common view and common controls. Including
- shared desktop,
- shared live camera view with
- shared pointing within live stream,
- shared keyboard and mouse.
Smartphone extension mode
As smartphone extension, Aidomatix will extend your phone with PC based applications, private cloud and PC based browser functionality.
Camera mode
In camera mode Aidomatix will be your camera either for your own surveillance purposes, as a webcam with secure access or both.
Hardware configuration
Aidomatix comes with different accessories to fit your needs and let you control the cost of your Aidomatix and the perfect integration into your home:
- Naked Aidomatix: smart PC with touchscreen, power supply and power cord
- Naked Aidomatix++: naked Aidomatix with tripod
- Mobile kit: Aidomatix with battery
- Cellular kit: Aidomatix with GSM
- Nightvision kit: Aidomatix with ability to show infrared based pictures
- Access point kit: Aidomatix generating an own Wifi for devices, that want to take control over your data, such as you smart TV.
Planned software extensions
Antispy mode: a mode to keep smart devices such as TVs or other home devices to send more to the internet, than expected. With the remote features of Aidomatix, the setup and maintaining is piece of cake for your aid.
Rescue mode: Aidomatix can generate bootable USB-Sticks for e.g. Antivirus rescue disks. With the remote modes of Aidomatix you can let your aid manage the rescue for your system.
How to use Aidomatix?
Remote aid mode
Alice (the aid) can remotely see the screen of Aidomatix, showing the camera live stream. In there Alice can use mouse and further augmenting tools to show Bob (the one who wants aid) what in the camera view she is referring to, while explaining. Alice can only connect through a strongly encrypted channel after Bob enabled remote access.
Optionally Bob can even use his favorite device to look at the augmented livestream there.

Shared Desktop
Alice and Bob can look on the same shared virtual desktop in Aidomatix. Alice can only connect through a strongly encrypted channel after Bob enabled remote access.

Remote Desktop
Bob just grants access (with a simple tap on Aidomatix) and Alice can use the virtual desktop to work within the Wifi of Bob.

Remote Aid with Bluetooth
With the virtual desktop and the live stream combined Alice can setup devices of Bob, which have no remote screen capability and bluetooth keyboard and mouse support, such as many tablets and smartphones.

- Cleaning up a device

Smartphone extension
Bob can use Aidomatix to work on files and use applications, which are only available for PC. For example he could even use websites, which are not working on his device.

- Edit documents, you cannot edit on your phone
- Browse pages, that are not made for your phone
- Preview documents, your phone cannot preview
- And everything, that pops up in your mind…
Camera mode
If you are in little need of help or momentarily happy with the apps on your smartphone, you can still use Aidomatix as your highly configurable surveillance camera or even as webcam.
